Head to Dambulla to explore the Royal Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with stunning Buddha statues and ancient cave paintings.Later in the day, visit the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, an ancient palace on a massive rock offering breathtaking views.
Day 04 – Ancient Cities and Rock Kingdoms
Begin your day with a visit to Polonnaruwa, the medieval capital of Sri Lanka, where beautifully preserved ruins speak of a glorious past.Return to Sigiriya if you’d like to explore more or catch anything you missed the day before.
Day 05 – Colombo: Cultural Contrast in the Capital
Drive to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s bustling capital. Visit the stunning Red Mosque (Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque), a striking symbol of the city’s cultural diversity. Enjoy a short city tour or some local shopping if time permits.
Day 06 – Departure from BIA
